Listen O the seeker of love! I am full of pride thou adopt humility,
I am autonomous and self-centred! Be like
Ayaz to Mehmud of Ghazni,
Under the sky , it is not tied to
Alexandrian status of achievements,
All the necessities are inherent in thee, be master of thy own fate,
Struggle
of life is meant to make thy crescent the full moon,
Thou art caretaker of tawheed in the world, discharge thy duties,
O the virtuous man! Don’t be
contented, this establishes thy dignity,
Keep collecting buds of virtue until the last
breath,
Those days are gone, now it is not
the times to live in isolation,
Like
a burning lamp illuminate thy society until last breath,
Existence of individuals is transitory, existence of ummah is real,
Sacrifice thyself on the ummah, break the talisman of
individuality,
O Iqbal! These sectarians
of of the society are doing idolatry,
Save thyself from getting idolised, be the dust of pathway to Hijaz.
